Blue Brain started as my personal brand long before it became a boutique travel studio. I’ve always been fascinated by how much our brains carry (behavior, illnesses, chaos, etc.) and how rarely we’re given space to truly unplug. That led me to
My Brain Is Blue, then to self‑care products, and now to travel.
In high school, I'd watched athletes wear “
dumb jock” shirts where the athletics department would give students these shirts that were bringing in at minimum 3.0 GPAs and it stuck with me (even after school) how quickly people underestimate others. That spark became
My Brain is Blue: a brand built around honoring intelligence, athleticism, and how we interpret people to be perceived to one label. Our minds and body are able to do a lot, and now
My Brain is Blue is my personal identity and has been for over a decade (tattoo to support this - right forearm).
From there, I moved into bath and self-care products, creating an easy ways for people to slow down and tend to themselves. Just think about how much you care for others before you care for yourself. That is why I created Blue Brain Creations, this ideology was always and is still the same:
- Overstimulated, high-capacity people deserve spaces and experiences that refill them.
- Rest is not a reward; it is a requirement.
With multiple degrees in psychology (and a nearly complete PhD - and still a very humble brag), my work has and will always be centered around the brain and behavior (how it processes stress, how it burns out, and how it recovers). Since I keep bringing them up, my degrees are in child & adolescent development - M.S. and developmental psychology - pending Ph.D.) I understand overstimulation, decision fatigue, and what real restoration looks like on a nervous system level.
Blue Brain is the next evolution of that mission. Blue Brain is where that expertise meets soft, approachable luxury travel that’s designed to soothe your mind, not just impress your feed.
